showMessage is a jQuery Based plugin used to display message in notification bar at the top of web page or in any element.
This jQuery plugin is a tool for displaying text, images, or both in a notification box that floats overtop of web page. We built this plugin using the jQuery library and have licensed the plugin under both MIT and GPL licenses.
showMessage jQuery plug-in was inspired by a similar effect you can see on the Twitter site. Some of the advantages:
- Notification toolbar displayed at the top or bottom of page (no scrolling to view error)
- Multiple messages can be displayed in notification bar
- Options to automatically close the notification bar after set delay
- Notification bar closes with blur/’esc’ key/’close’ link
